Biblical Knowledge program

The Biblical Knowledge program centers on God’s Word. The purpose of the program is to empower last day’s Believer’s for laboring for the Lord.

Details:

Salem Bible College and Seminary offers Associate, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees in Bible Knowledge. The courses are Bible based not concentrating on church history or doctrine but on the power of the Holy of the Holy Spirit and life changing power of God’s Word. There are courses to deepen your Faith, Strengthen your walk in God, as well as courses that will empower you in your service for God.

The purpose of the program is to empower workers for the kingdom of God. For details click on link to the right.

Classes available through the Bible Knowledge program include:

  1. Old Testament Survey
  2. New Testament Survey
  3. The Prophets
  4. How Should a Christian Live
  5. Parables of Jesus
  6. Fruit of the Spirit
  7. Sermon on the Mount
  8. The Life of Christ
  9. Guidance and God’s Will and many others

The Online courses include topics such as:

Strategies for Spiritual Harvest

  1. Ministry of the Holy Spirit
  2. Knowing God’s Voice
  3. Teaching Tactics
  4. Intercessory Prayer
  5. Walking in the Spirit
  6. Walking in Healing.

These courses concentrate on the Word of God. This is life changing in itself as God’s Word promises that His Word will not go forth void, especially when it is applied to our lives.

The College will be of interest for those involved in any aspect of the ministry as well as those who are interested in increasing their knowledge of God’s Word.

Counseling program

The Counseling program is in conjunction with the National Christian Counselors Association. This is one of the largest Christian Counseling Associations in the world. They have a Bible based counseling program.

Details:

Salem Bible College and Seminary is a Certified Academic Institute of the National Christian Counselors Association, one of the largest Christian Counseling Associations in the World. The National Christian Counselors Association is accredited by the Accrediting Commission International (A.C.I.) as a Comprehensive Accredited Member. It is also fully Accredited by the National Private Schools Association Group (NPSAG). The program is Christian Oriented and Bible based. Students who enroll in Salem Bible College and Seminary program will be completing NCCA Courses and will receive upon completion of their degree licensing through the NCCA.

Who can benefit from Counseling Training?

  1. Christians who want to be better equipped to minister to those who need counsel.
  2. Pastor who want to learn how to counsel members of their community.
  3. Christians who want to be credentialed and enter the field of counseling as a Part-Time or Full-Time MINISTRY.
  4. Professional Counselors who want to become A.P.S. Certified to lean a Biblically based counseling model with proven success.

What is require by those who become certified or licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association?

  1. Be credentialed Ministers (Ordained, Licensed, or Commissioned you may be credentialed as Minister of Counseling) whose goal is to evangelize and ease the emotional pain and suffering of humanity.
  2. Provide service under the authority of a legally organized local church, a national church organization, or a 501 (C) (3) not-for-profit Organization.
  3. Complete specialized training.
  4. Complete the requirements for education and the annual license renewal.

What is required for those who wish to be able to counsel as a career receiving funds for their service?

  1. Be credentialed misters
  2. Provide service under authority of a legally organized local church, a national church organization, or 501 (C)(3) nonprofit ministry.
  3. Complete training and earn a Master’s Degree.
  4. Uphold Code of Ethical Standards.
  5. Have some type of personal liability/malpractice insurance.
  6. Attention: Those who enroll in the counseling program at Salem Bible College and Seminary will be required to have a major or minor in Bible Knowledge as well.

Additional Requirements

All candidates must provide the Salem Bible College & Seminary. with the following prior to completion of program:

1. A copy of the highest diploma, certificate or degree earned and related transcript.

2. A current resume including any background in counseling or areas of interest in counseling and recent photo.

3. Proof of Ordination or Minister’s License in the form of photocopy or official letter (If applicable)

4. Three letters of personal reference.

5. A letter of reference from your pastor or an elder in your church.

NOTE:

The candidate Evaluation Committee will not recommend anyone for certification or license whose student file is incomplete.

Refund Policy

Salem Bible College & Seminary has a no refund policy for tuition or book fees paid.

I understand that in order to be able to charge for counseling services I must:

1. Be credentialed minister whose goal is to evangelize and ease the emotional pain and suffering of humanity. This can be ordained as a minister of counseling.

2. Provide my service under the authority of a legally organized local church, a national church organization or a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit ministry.

3. Complete specialized training and receive at least a master’s degree.

4. Have malpractice insurance.

I have received the booklet-licensing program for Christian Counselors and I have read, and fully comprehend, and accept Salem Bible College & Seminary policies and procedures. I have also enclosed all required information. I understand that before I can receive my certification or license, my entire tuition must be paid in full. I understand that in order to enroll in the counselors program I must also enroll as a dual major in the Bible Knowledge Program with Salem Bible College & Seminary unless I already hold a degree in Bible Knowledge.
